mixing eq
effects/eqit’s a bad habit to look at a spectrum/filter curve when eqing in mixing. it’s best to use your ears to determine the optimal setting. this module assists with this by featuring a single variable filter with preset ranges and sliders and no visual output. also featured is a saturator, to allow you to create new frequencies in the mix
the five filter modes are, in order: low pass -6db, high pass -6db, peak, low shelf, high shelf. the gain ranges from -10db at 0, to 0db at 16384, to 5db at 32768

controllers
group 1: mix and monitoring controls
- mix: the dry/wet mix of the eq
- monitor enable: enables monitoring (a simple bandpass at the eq frequency)
group 2: eq settings
- freq: the eq frequency. ranges logarithmically from 30hz to 18khz
- gain: the eq gain. ranges from -10db at 0, to 0db at 16384, to 5db at 32768
- bandwidth: the bandwidth of the eq. does not affect the lowpass and highpass modes
- type: the type of the eq. the five filter types are, in order: low pass -6db, high pass -6db, peak, low shelf, high shelf
- roll-off: the roll-off of the eq. does not affect the peak, low shelf, and high shelf modes
group 3: saturator settings
- saturator input gain: the input gain of the signal in terms of the peak value. 256 (2000) = 0db
- saturator bias: adds internal dc offset (bias) to produce even harmonics
- saturator character: the curve shape of the saturator
- saturator mix: the dry/wet mix of the saturation. 16384 (4000) = 50% dry 50% wet
