controllers

group 1: mix controls

• mix: the dry/wet mix of the effect

group 2: frequency controls

• low cut: the amount of filtering on the lows. ranges from 20 hz to 1000 hz
• high cut: the amount of filtering on the highs. ranges from 20000 hz to 1000 hz
• tone: the gain of the high shelf filter at 1000 hz on the input

group 3: saturation controls

• gain: the gain of the effect. ranges from 0 to +24 db
• type: the type of saturation. has five values, each corresponding to five different sigmoid functions. this smoothly mixes between the five functions
• bias: the amount of assymmetry of the saturation
• out trim: the volume reduction of the saturation output. ranges from 0 to -24 db. this is calibrated to match the gain controller, so set these two the same if you want to compensate for the gain

group 4: misc controls

• low boost: adds a slight resonance peak to the low cut filter
• high boost: adds a slight resonance peak to the high cut filter
